-|||-SOLD-|||- Roberto Olivas is a superb young potter who lives in Barrio Porvenir in the village of Mata Ortiz. He lives with his wife Yadira Silveira de Olivas and their two small children in a two room adobe house. Roberto's work has had a recent rise in publicity as he his art has captured the hearts of many seasoned collectors. This olla is done in a stark white clay and painted in a red and black 'Quezada' influenced designs repeated three times around the olla. Roberto then precisely carves out around the painted designs producing a bas relief with a sgraffitoed finish. This exquisite museum quality olla measures 12.0"high x 9.0"wide.
