Luis works mostly in the difficult white clays and paints superb 'Mimbres Style Designs' on his ollas. This flawless olla depicts a 'Turquoise Trader Scene' in ancient 'Mimbres Style Painting' and I find Luis' Painting and olla construction second to none in his generation. A humble youngman who is setting a course destined to be a master potter. This magnificent olla measures 9.5"h x 7.0" w with a real turquoise stone set in the olla. A superb fine art olla!
