She lives Nuevo Casas Grandes with her husband Rito Talavera and their young son Moroni. Lydia and Rito often work as a team where Rito forms the ollas and Lydia does the painting and finishing. This fine olla is made of white clay and has two repeat circular painted designs done in deep black and rich red. The olla stands a full 12.0"h z 8.5 "wide. with a beautifully sculpted pico (top). The white inside the circular design is hand polished while the white outside the design is a matte finish. A delight for the discreet collector. SEE ADDITIONAL PICS BELOW
