SOLD A rare opportunity for your Mata Ortiz collection from Master Potter Oscar Rodriguez Guillen. Being the true artist that he is - he works only by inspiration and often produces only one olla per month. Most of his work is pre-ordered by collectors or top notch galleries in Sante Fe or California. We were fortunate to get this piece and are proud to offer it to the serious collector. The olla measures 11.0"h x 9.0"w and is painted in a rich red and deep black paints specially mixed by the artist. It's striking designs are from the creative heart of this master artist and potter and features a three repeat pattern of 'Paquime' and Mimbres designs wrapped in a cuadrito basket weave at the top.
