Luis works mostly in the difficult white clays and paints superb 'Mimbres Style Designs' on his ollas. Luis just won second place honors in the 2006 FONART Concorso in Mata Ortiz, September 2006. He has been influenced by Martin Cota a master of the 'Mimbres Style'. This Museum Quality olla is beautifully crafted and painted - measuring 9.0"h x 7.0" w. A superb fine art olla!
