Elizar Quintana is a seasoned potter from the village of Mata Ortiz, Mexico. He has been making'scraffito style pottery' for over ten years. This wonderful 7.0"h x 7.0"w piece features 'dos viboras' two vipers (1 red and 1 black) wrapping themselves around each other as a wavy decorative geometric band. The neck and bottom of the olla are done in black and red geometric designs that immediately catch the eye. A wonderful pieece of ceramic artistry.
