-|||- NEW -|||-Adrian Rojas is a young potter who has become well known in the last four years. He has won numerous awards for the excellence of his work. Adrian won first place in the 2008 Concurso (see concurso gallery). When I first met Adrian I asked him who mentored him in the art of pottery. His answer was, "I taught myself, I figured if Juan Quezaada could do it so can I". Since that time I have watched Adrian grow into a serious young master. This 'Grande Olla' is no exception. Made of a light tan clay the olla is superbly painted in deep rich red and black paint with graphics of Adrian's own creation. The form of the olla and painting are done in a true spirit of excellence. This gorgeous piece measures 17.5"h x 15.0"w. If you love true Mata Ortiz ceramic art this piece is for your collection.
