He lives with his wife Yadira Silveira de Olivas and their two small children in a two room adobe house. Roberto's work has had a recent rise in publicity as he his art has captured the hearts of many seasoned collectors. This olla is done in a dark gray clay and painted in a white design repeated three times around the olla. Roberto then precisely carves out around the painted pattern producing a relief design with a sgraffitoed finish. This exquisite museum quality olla measures 12.0"high x 9.5"wide.
