Aspen Leaf Gourd 1 This beautiful 'Aspen Leaf' engraved and painted gourd by Laura Stevens is a delight to experience and behold. It measures 12"high x 9" at it's widest point. Like all of Laura's gourds each one designed with a specific leaf pattern that is engraved with a fine burning detailer. Then several layers of color dye are applied to each leaf until the desired look and feel is achieved. The background is then painted in a Van Gogh style brush stroke until fully covered. The entire gourd is then finished with a water proofing seal. Finally, each gourd is personally signed and given an individually registered number for future references to the artist. Seasoned art collectors seldom find works of this nature. You will be thoroughly pleased with any of Laura's gourd art.
